CyberPanel 3.0.7 is now available. This feature release adds an optional Roundcube webmail integration for entitled servers while keeping CyberPanel’s integrated webmail available as the default client.
Roundcube, integrated securely
Server administrators can install and manage Roundcube from Email → Roundcube (Paid add-on). Roundcube integration is included with the $169 lifetime CyberPanel Add-ons Package, or it can be purchased separately as a $99 lifetime Roundcube license for one server IP. Existing eligible all-features entitlements continue to unlock it.
- Roundcube 1.7.4 is pinned and checksum-verified during installation.
- The client runs in a dedicated PHP-FPM service behind the CyberPanel HTTPS endpoint.
- Mailbox credentials and Roundcube sessions remain separate from CyberPanel administrator sessions.
- Installer, configuration, SQL, arbitrary PHP, and traversal paths are blocked.
- Contacts, preferences, database state, and the encryption key survive disable, re-enable, and update operations.
Integrated webmail has a refreshed design
The built-in CyberPanel webmail remains available. Its standalone mailbox experience now uses the current CyberPanel branding, a focused mailbox workspace, dark mode, accessible login fields, and corrected mobile compose, contacts, rules, and settings views.
Upgrades now show live progress
CyberPanel’s command-line upgrade process now streams the Python upgrader output as it runs. The upgrade log and the real command exit status are preserved, so long-running steps no longer look frozen at the “Running upgrade.py” message.
Tested on an installed CyberPanel server
The release was tested through the real browser flow on a disposable installation. Validation covered Roundcube installation, valid and invalid mailbox login, desktop and mobile layouts, contacts, attachment and Unicode mail roundtrips, disable and re-enable, reinstall persistence, entitlement revocation, protected paths, the independent integrated webmail client, service health, and the public upgrade path.

Take a server snapshot or backup, then run:
cyberpanel upgradeAfter upgrading, confirm that the panel reports CyberPanel 3.0.7 and verify your mail services before enabling the optional Roundcube add-on.
