How does auto-configure work? ▼
When you click "Auto-Configure", we SSH into your CyberPanel server (using the root password you provide — it's never stored), generate an SSH key, install it on our SFTP server, and add the backup destination to CyberPanel's database. The whole process takes about 30 seconds.
Can I use this without CyberPanel? ▼
Yes! The SFTP account works with any backup tool or SFTP client. The auto-configure feature is CyberPanel-specific, but you can manually configure any server to back up to your SFTP account.
What happens if I run out of storage? ▼
You'll see usage warnings in your dashboard when you approach your quota. You can upgrade your plan at any time. Backups will fail if the quota is exceeded.
Is my data encrypted? ▼
All data transfers use SFTP (SSH File Transfer Protocol), which encrypts data in transit. Data at rest is stored on dedicated storage servers with access restricted to your SFTP credentials.
Can I cancel anytime? ▼
Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time. Your data will be retained for 30 days after cancellation, giving you time to download your backups.
